🛠️ What Can I Craft

Find the blueprint you want to craft and see every mission that can award it: who gives it, in which system, the rank and rep you need before the mission shows up, and what you have to finish first. Or browse every mission in the game. Or tell it the materials you have and see what you can craft with them, and what the quality of your materials does to the finished item. All from the game's own files, updated each patch.

ℹ️ How to read this
  • What can I craft: type the materials you have down the left (SCU for ores and refined materials, a count for gems and items: they're kept in this browser), and the table shows what they'd make and how many times, or what you're short of. Tick Add the quality of each to type each material's quality too (+ adds another lot of the same material at another quality; the best lots are used first): the table then shows the quality the item would come out at (the parts' qualities averaged, each part counting the same) and what that does to its main stat, and a material below the quality a blueprint asks for doesn't count towards it. Open an item for its materials and the quality calculator.
  • Material quality: on an item's 🛠️ Crafting and quality tab, set the quality of the material going into each part (or all of them at once) and see what the crafted item ends up with next to a stock one. A stat that two parts change is changed by both. Some stats stop improving at quality 500; some materials can't be used below a quality the blueprint sets.
  • Filters (down the left; the ⚙️ Filters button on a phone) pick missions: by system, faction, mission type, rank, odds, legality, group size and whether there's anything to finish first. The number beside each choice is how many results it would leave. The finder shows the blueprints those missions award, and a blueprint's list of missions dims the ones the filters leave out. Click a column heading to sort by it (again to turn it round). Group by sorts the blueprints into sections, say one per faction; a blueprint more than one faction awards shows under each.
  • Rank needed is your standing with the mission's giver (in their part of the game, like Hauling for Covalex) before the mission shows up on your board and you can accept it. The number is the rep that rank starts at. Rank 1, 2 and so on is how far up that giver's ladder it is.
  • Finish first lists missions you must have completed before this one appears. When a line lists several, any one of them is enough.
  • Blueprint rewards: a mission awards one blueprint from its reward pool, picked by chance. A pool of 6 means each run gives you one of those 6, so you may need a few runs for the one you're after. Pick missions with smaller pools for better odds.
  • Where: the star systems, and the planets and moons around which the mission is offered. "System from its name" means the files don't list where it's offered, so the system is read from the mission's own name.
  • Hauling missions show their cargo (📦) and, in their details, ships that can carry it all in one load and take its largest box, smallest hold first. Trade & industry → Cargo hauling has every ship's hold.
  • Missions the files list once per region or variant (the same title, giver, rank, pay and blueprints) are shown once.
  • The files are the game's own (game build 4.10.2-LIVE.12881860, datamined by the Star Citizen Wiki), not what players have seen. A mission in the files isn't guaranteed to be on the board this patch, and missions the developers marked unreleased or work in progress are left out. Blueprints with no mission may come from somewhere the files don't show, or not be in the game yet.
